Bishop’s Stortford

Crumbs Bishop’s Stortford is located in a listed brick maltings building on the river Stort. Just five minutes from the busy high street, it offers a tranquil setting overlooking the river, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We have lovingly restored the original brick walls and the original cast iron plumbing stacks are a prominent interior feature. The venue very much fits with Crumbs’ ethos of authenticity, craft and tradition brought into the 21st century.

We offer speciality coffee, an all-day breakfast menu, delicious generously filled deli sandwiches made on our bread, and a variety of pastries, cakes and cookies handmade and freshly baked in our artisan bakery in Watton at Stone.

We serve our guests on a walk-in basis, with no reservations.
