Watton-at-Stone

Crumbs in Watton at Stone is our original bakery and café. We moved into this High Street building from a home kitchen back in February 2019. Watton is a picturesque Hertfordshire village right in the middle of Hertford, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City.

In the last five years we have truly become the social hub of the village, where the residents regularly meet for catch ups, whom we know by name, and who ask for their ‘’usual’’ when they come in. We are also proud to have become a popular destination for our guests not only from the nearest towns but all the way from Harlow, Broxbourne, and London. Not kidding!

We don’t take reservations, but we’ll do our best to find you a table, even if we’ll have to quickly carve one for you! There is ample free street parking, and our countryside location provides for amazing dog walks, hiking routes, and a perfect refuelling stop for our super fit cyclists!

Come and watch us work in the kitchen, see large sacs of flour we use stacked up high by the window, meet our bakers, and try whatever it is that they just took out of the oven. It couldn’t be fresher or more authentic!
